Job Overview: A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking an experienced Corporate Governance Lawyer to provide expert guidance on the technical aspects of corporate governance best practices, securities laws, stock exchange corporate governance standards, proxy advisory firm policies, bylaws, and other governance policies and codes of conduct. Duties:

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Corporate Governance Lawyer, with some experience in a law firm setting.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance best practices, securities laws, and stock exchange corporate governance standards.
• Strong analytical, writing, and research skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of New York.
