Environmental Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Handle litigation and regulatory matters related to federal and state environmental laws.
• Manage cases involving environmental permitting, renewable energy development, due diligence, enforcement actions, and contaminated properties.
• Engage in direct client contact, requiring effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support environmental cases.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Stay updated on changes in environmental laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience as an Environmental Attorney.
• Strong background in litigation and/or regulatory matters.
• Expertise in federal and state environmental laws, environmental permitting, renewable energy development, due diligence, enforcement actions, and contaminated properties.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Previous experience in environmental law.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• New York Bar or Washington, D.C. license.
