Research and Appellate Attorney

A law firm in Omaha, NE, is seeking a Research and Appellate Attorney with 5-10 years of experience. The ideal candidate must possess superb research and writing skills to assist with brief writing at the state and federal level. They will be responsible for assisting the firm in representing clients and preparing motions, briefs, coverage opinions, and other related matters.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research at the state and federal level.
• Draft and edit briefs for appellate proceedings.
• Assist in preparing motions, including summary judgment motions and motions to dismiss.
• Provide coverage opinions on legal matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
