A law firm in Miami is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Real Estate Associate Attorney specializing in Affordable Housing and Tax Credits. The ideal candidate must possess excellent academic credentials and demonstrate strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. They should be a member in Good Standing of the Florida Bar or willing to seek admission to the Florida Bar. The position offers the opportunity to work on meaningful real estate matters with a focus on title and survey, easements, leases, and affordable housing and tax credit projects.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in real estate transactions, with a focus on affordable housing and tax credit projects
  • Conduct due diligence, including title and survey reviews, to identify and resolve issues
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, easements, leases, and other real estate documents
  • Assist in the financing and development of affordable housing projects, including navigating tax credit programs
  • Research and analyze legal issues related to real estate and affordable housing regulations
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders involved in real estate transactions

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Member in Good Standing of the Florida Bar or willingness to seek admission
  • 2-4 years of meaningful experience in real estate law, with a focus on title and survey, easements, and leases
  • Excellent academic credentials with a strong GPA
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality legal services to clients

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Member in Good Standing of the Florida Bar or willingness to seek admission
