Job Overview: A law firm in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Patent Prosecution Associate Attorney with 2-6 years of legal experience. Duties:

  • Providing legal counsel to clients on IP matters.
  • Collaborating with inventors and stakeholders to understand inventions and develop patent strategies.
  • Managing patent portfolios and maintaining client relationships.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of legal experience.
  • Experience in IP law with a focus on drafting and patent prosecution.
  • Background in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar fields.
  • Design engineering experience with a chip company is a plus.
  • Knowledge or expertise in networking, software, 3G/4G/5G wireless networks, or related areas is preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
