Job Overview: A law firm in Orlando, FL is seeking an Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Partner with 8+ years of experience practicing in a law firm. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits matters, including defined benefit plans, contribution plans, 401k plans, and profit-sharing plans. Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on matters of Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and participant communications.
  • Assist clients in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and ACA.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, transactions, and disputes related to Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity or examination.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience practicing law, focusing on Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits matters.
  • Demonstrated expertise in defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, and profit-sharing plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience managing client relationships and developing a portable business book is highly desirable.

Education and Certifications:
