Duties

  • Represent clients in various criminal defense cases, including misdemeanors and felonies.
  • Prepare and argue motions, conduct legal research, and draft pleadings.

  • Conduct client interviews and maintain clear communication throughout each case.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Alabama and in good standing with the Alabama State Bar.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in criminal defense.
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage a demanding caseload independently.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Passionate about criminal defense and committed to protecting the rights of the accused.
  • Willingness to travel statewide for court appearances, client meetings, and hearings.

Education
