Greenville office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks IP licensing attorney with 10+ years of intellectual property licensing and technology agreements experience. The candidate will be drafting and negotiating software and SaaS licenses; drafting and negotiating software development and joint development agreements; drafting and negotiating pharmaceutical and biotech licenses; drafting and negotiating pharmaceutical and biotech development, manufacturing, and commercialization agreements. Should have experience in drafting and negotiating the full range of patent and/or software licensing agreements. USPTO admission is strongly preferred. Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science preferred.

The candidate should have a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Excellent academic credentials needed. Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices as the position evolves and Firm needs change essential. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines needed. Should have ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team. Ability to develop relationships and foster teamwork at all levels of the Firm needed. Should have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of internal and external clients, attorneys, and staff. Excellent oral and written communication skills needed. Ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and discretion essential. Ability and confidence to identify and analyze issues, make decisions, and initiate actions/solutions needed. Should have ability to respond to unexpected challenges, including proactively developing innovative solutions to complex problems while maintaining a professional demeanor. Must have ability to maintain composure and demonstrate good judgment.
