Job Overview:
A respected law firm is actively seeking an Associate Attorney with 4 to 6 years of focused experience in appellate practice and trial support. This position involves significant courtroom engagement and offers the opportunity to contribute to complex litigation matters across multiple office locations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in appellate advocacy, motion practice, and trial preparation. This opportunity is presented by a legal recruiting agency on behalf of the hiring law firm.

Location:

  • Miami, FL

Duties:

  • Draft appellate briefs and legal memoranda

  • Present oral arguments in appellate courts

  • Argue dispositive motions and assist with trial-level motion practice

  • Participate in charge conferences and ensure preservation of the record at trial

  • Support trial teams with legal research, brief writing, and strategic input

  • Collaborate with litigation attorneys across practice groups

Requirements:

  • 4–6 years of appellate and trial support experience

  • Substantial courtroom experience, including oral arguments and legal motions

  • Strong familiarity with trial procedures and appellate rules

  • Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines effectively

  • Proven track record of working well both independently and in team settings

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

  • High academic achievement preferred

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Skills:

  • Outstanding legal research and writing abilities

  • Strong oral advocacy and courtroom presence

  • Meticulous attention to detail and precision in legal drafting

  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop strategic solutions

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
