Corporate Associate Attorney

A law firm is currently seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney to join their team in Austin. The Corporate Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal support in private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong drafting and organizational skills, along with excellent academic credentials. A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in an Am Law 100 law firm is required.

Duties:

• Draft and review legal documents related to private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support client needs.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to provide legal advice and guidance.
• Assist in due diligence processes for transactions.
• Manage and organize legal documentation and transaction records.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• State Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
• 3-5 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions.
• Previous experience in an Am Law 100 law firm is mandatory.
