Mid-Level Antitrust Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a qualified Mid-Level Antitrust Associate Attorney to join their team in Redwood City, CA. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience with excellent academic credentials and a focus on transactional antitrust matters.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research on antitrust laws, regulations, and precedents.
• Draft legal documents, including memoranda, briefs, and motions related to antitrust matters.
• Assist in merger investigations before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and other enforcement agencies.
• Provide antitrust compliance counseling to clients and advise on potential antitrust risks in business transactions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on various antitrust-related tasks and projects.
• Handle multiple matters simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in antitrust law.
• Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Admitted to practice in New York, California, or the District of Columbia.
• Strong understanding of antitrust laws and regulations.
• Experience with HSR (Hart-Scott-Rodino Act) filings and deal counseling.
• Familiarity with merger investigations and proceedings.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
