Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm located in Columbus is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney. The successful candidate should have experience in all pre-trial phases of litigation, with a focus on drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and discovery. Strong emphasis on developing skills in taking and defending depositions, preparing, arguing, and participating in hearings, trials, and arbitrations. Demonstrating exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills with strong academic credentials.

Duties:

• Drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Taking and defending depositions.
• Preparing for and participating in hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
• Conducting legal research and analysis.
• Providing support to senior attorneys on complex cases.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of litigation experience.
• Experience in professional liability insurance and/or complex commercial litigation preferred.
• Dedication to developing skills in court and arbitration proceedings.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Ohio Bar.
