A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Antitrust Associate Attorney for their Washington, DC office.

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Antitrust Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel on antitrust matters, including transactional work, merger investigations, compliance counseling, and agency-facing tasks. The ideal candidate should have between 2-5 years of experience with excellent academic credentials and be admitted to practice in New York, California, or the District of Columbia.

Duties:

  • Conduct transactional antitrust work, including HSR filings and deal counseling.
  • Handle merger investigations before the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Justice, and other enforcement agencies.
  • Provide substantive antitrust compliance counseling.
  • Engage in agency-facing work related to antitrust matters.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
  • Manage multiple matters simultaneously.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in antitrust law.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Admission to practice law in New York, California, or the District of Columbia.
  • Experience with transactional antitrust matters, including HSR filings and deal counseling.
  • Familiarity with merger investigations and agency procedures.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
