Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Palo Alto is seeking a Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. This position involves providing trademark counseling to clients and supporting both counseling and litigation for trade secret, trademark, and false advertising matters. The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers and participate in educational seminars and practice groups. The Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for conducting research, drafting memoranda, and analyzing agreements in data rooms. Effective communication with clients, excellent academic credentials, and membership in the State Bar are essential. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant law firm or in-house experience, demonstrating expertise in trademark, trade secrets, and false advertising matters.

Duties:

• Provide trademark counseling to clients
• Conduct brief or somewhat more complex research and draft memoranda on specific legal issues
• Support counseling and litigation for trade secret, trademark, and false advertising matters
• Communicate with clients via telephone and email
• Participate in due diligence, analyzing agreements in data rooms
• Provide direct assistance to senior lawyers on legal matters for corporate clients
• Join educational seminars and practice groups

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant law firm or in-house experience
• Admitted to the Bar of the State
• Excellent academic credentials
• Experience in trademark, trade secrets, and false advertising
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent research and drafting skills

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
