Associate Attorney needed for Charleston office

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with lead attorneys, assisting in various phases of litigation and contributing strategic insights to achieve client objectives.

Duties:

• Collaborate with lead attorneys on all aspects of litigation, including case evaluation, reporting, discovery, depositions, and trial presentation.
• Conducted legal research and drafted documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
• Assist in client communication and case management, ensuring timely updates and responsiveness to client needs.
• Participate in case strategy meetings and contribute innovative ideas to achieve favorable client outcomes.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings as required.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in civil litigation.
• Admitted to the South Carolina Bar.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the state of South Carolina.
