Litigating Personal Injury Attorney

A law firm in Brunswick is seeking a Litigating Personal Injury Attorney. The attorney will oversee all aspects of Personal Injury cases, including gathering documents, negotiating settlements, and providing guidance to clients. They will evaluate case merits, handle medical reviews, conduct discovery, and lead litigation efforts. Strong negotiation skills, a firm understanding of Florida Personal Injury law, and effective leadership abilities are essential for success in this role.

Duties:

• Oversee gathering necessary documents, evidence, and information for claims
• Collaborate with the team to prepare demand letters and negotiate settlements
• Handle all aspects of Personal Injury cases
• Evaluate the merits of Personal Injury cases
• Provide guidance and counsel to clients through effective communication
• Handle medical reviews and negotiate and settle cases as necessary
• Handle a large caseload effectively
• Open new files and create litigation plans
• Conduct discovery
• Possess leadership skills to build and manage a legal team
• Interact with clients during their time of need
• Demonstrate determination to achieve the best results for clients and win cases

Requirements:

2+ years of Personal Injury Litigation Attorney experience

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the Florida Bar Association (active and in good standing)

Skills:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Firm understanding of Florida Personal Injury law
• Ability to handle a large caseload
• Effective leadership skills
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
• Trial experience is a plus
