A law firm in Houston is currently seeking an experienced Energy and Infrastructure Finance Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in syndicated and leveraged finance transactions within the Energy and Infrastructure industry. This role requires top academic credentials, strong analytical abilities, excellent client-relations skills, and expertise in drafting complex financing documents, managing real property, UCC, and security interest issues, as well as supervising junior associates.

 

Job Details:

  • Work primarily on syndicated and leveraged finance transactions in the Energy & Infrastructure industry.
  • Draft complex financing documents and manage complicated real property, UCC, and security interest issues.
  • Supervise junior associates within the practice.
  • Demonstrate top academic credentials.
  • Possess strong analytical abilities.
  • Exhibit excellent client-relations skills.
  • Admitted or eligible for admission to the Texas Bar.

 

Requirements:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • 3+ years of experience working on syndicated and leveraged finance transactions.
  • Experience with agents and lenders (commercial banks and/or direct lenders), private equity sponsors, and corporate borrowers in the Energy & Infrastructure industry.
  • Admitted or eligible for admission to the Texas Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Excellent client-relations skills.
  • Expertise in drafting complex financing documents.
  • Experience managing real property, UCC, and security interest issues.
  • Supervisory skills for junior associates.
