Job Overview: An opportunity is available for an associate in the Infrastructure Group, offering a chance to work on large-scale public civil works projects. The ideal candidate will bring 3-6 years of experience in construction law, real estate law, public contract law, and/or transportation regulatory law. A professional or academic background in engineering, construction, or project finance is highly desirable. This role provides an opportunity to take ownership of significant projects and manage multiple tasks efficiently while collaborating within a team environment.

Duties:

  • Manage multiple infrastructure-related projects across various practice areas.
  • Provide legal counsel on construction, real estate, public contract, and transportation regulatory matters.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver innovative solutions for large public civil works projects.
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Develop client relationships and assist in business development efforts.
  • Maintain a high standard of legal work while meeting billable hour targets.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in construction law, public contract law, or related fields.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Admission to the state bar in the office location.
  • Willingness to take on significant responsibilities and demonstrate leadership potential.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar in the office location is required.

Skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with public infrastructure projects and related legal issues.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of engineering, construction, or project finance (preferred).
