A law firm in West Palm Beach is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of labor and employment defense experience. The ideal candidate should have a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school, be a member of The Florida Bar, and possess employment counseling and litigation experience. The role requires excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills, along with expertise in counseling employers on labor and employment law issues, conducting investigations, and managing employment-related litigation.

 

Duties:

  • Provide employment counseling to employers on labor and employment law issues.
  • Handle employment-related litigation before federal and state courts and government agencies.
  • Conduct witness interviews and investigations in employment matters.
  • Draft position statements and legal documents for employment cases.
  • Prepare employee handbooks, policies, employment agreements, and separation agreements.
  • Manage the complete life cycle of employment-related litigation.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Membership in The Florida Bar.
  • 3-5 years of labor and employment defense experience.

 

Skills:
