General Liability Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its General Liability practice group in Philadelphia, PA. Location:

• Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Duties:

• Conduct file reviews and provide legal analysis of claims and causes of action

• Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs

• Represent clients regularly in court proceedings, arbitrations, and depositions

• Draft and respond to discovery requests

• Manage expert witness retention and collaboration

• Prepare for and attend trials

• Meet an annual billable hour requirement of 1950 hours

• Travel as necessary based on case requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in General Liability

• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills

• Ability to manage a full caseload independently while also collaborating with a team

• Prompt responsiveness to emails and telephone communications

• Excellent client service and telephone manner

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania

• Admission in other states considered a plus but not required
