  • Represent clients in IRS and state tax audits, collections, and controversy matters under supervision.
  • Draft legal memoranda, IRS responses, and client-facing communications.
  • Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients at all times.
  • Provide bi-monthly client status updates with 100% communication compliance.
  • Enter time and case activity contemporaneously in case management software.
  • Meet performance expectations aligned with firm KPIs and bonus eligibility.
  • Participate in internal legal training programs, case meetings, and strategy sessions.

Requirements

  • Experience in representing clients in IRS and state tax audits, collections, and controversy matters.
  • Ability to draft clear and concise legal memoranda, IRS responses, and client communications.
  • Proven track record of maintaining proactive and professional communication with clients.
  • Commitment to providing bi-monthly client status updates with 100% communication compliance.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
