Job Overview:
A dynamic and expanding family law firm is seeking a Family Law Attorney or Arizona-licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LP) to support its growth in the Tucson area and surrounding markets, including Sierra Vista. This position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality legal services to families navigating divorce, custody disputes, and other domestic relations matters. The firm provides the infrastructure, marketing support, and tools necessary for professionals to manage a caseload independently while operating within a modern, tech-driven legal environment.

Location:

  • Tucson, AZ

Duties:

  • Manage and represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, custody, and asset division

  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and court orders

  • Appear in court and effectively represent clients during hearings and trials

  • Work closely with partners, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case progression

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date client files

  • Offer empathetic, strategic counsel to clients in crisis

  • Contribute to building the firm’s presence in new and developing markets

Requirements:

  • Must hold an active Arizona license as either:

    • A Legal Paraprofessional (LP) with authority to practice family law

    • A licensed attorney in good standing with the Arizona State Bar

  • 1–5 years of experience in family law preferred; strong consideration given to newer attorneys who demonstrate confidence and coachability

  • Experience in litigation, mediation, or high-conflict cases is advantageous

  • Ability to work independently while aligning with firm goals and procedures

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school for attorney candidates

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Arizona (Attorney)

  • Active Arizona LP license for Legal Paraprofessionals, with family law authorization

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with cloud-based platforms and modern legal software

  • High level of empathy, professionalism, and ethical integrity

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and handle a high-volume caseload

  • Comfort with technology and remote collaboration tools
