Employment Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Berkeley Heights is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with a background in employment law to defend and litigate lawsuits concerning various employment-related claims. The ideal candidate will also provide counsel to employers on employment and labor law matters and represent them in court, administrative agencies, mediation, and arbitrations.

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a diverse range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Advise, counsel, and provide training to employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court proceedings, administrative hearings, mediations, and arbitrations, including class/collective actions and discrimination cases.
• Handle matters related to harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete agreements.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials.
• Current admission to the New Jersey Bar in good standing.
• Familiarity with current agency procedures at both state and federal levels.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably with a focus on employment law.
