The ideal candidate should have a portable book of business and robust experience in renewables, including wind, solar, hydroelectric, and fuel cell facilities, as well as knowledge of smart grid technology, energy storage, and energy efficiency.

 

Duties:

  • Counsel clients on renewables projects, focusing on facilities operations and power purchase agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on matters related to wind, solar, hydroelectric, and fuel cell facilities.
  • Assist clients with smart grid technology, energy storage, and energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a portable book of business.
  • Represent clients in litigation matters related to renewables projects.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on renewables projects.

 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Litigation Attorney, with a focus on renewables projects.
  • Portable book of business.
  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing of the Bar.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing of the Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Robust experience in renewables, including wind, solar, hydroelectric, and fuel cell facilities.
  • Knowledge of smart grid technology, energy storage, and energy efficiency.
