Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Roswell, GA, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience or be newly admitted to the Georgia Bar, possess strong communication skills, and be proficient in civil procedure and trial preparation.

Duties:

• Engage in extensive client contact
• Resolve legal matters efficiently and effectively
• Manage trial preparation, including depositions, discovery responses, negotiations, and settlements
• Adhere to civil procedure guidelines
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Represent clients in court proceedings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff
• Maintain accurate and organized case files
• Keep clients informed of case progress and developments
• Attend hearings and conferences as required

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in Georgia
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in civil procedure and trial preparation
• Ability to engage in extensive client contact
• Experience in litigation preferred.
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and commitment to client advocacy

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of Georgia
