Investment Services Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking an Investment Services Associate Attorney to join their Washington, DC office. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing multiple matters concurrently, specializing in registered investment companies, investment advisers, and federal securities laws compliance.

Duties:

• Manage multiple matters simultaneously within the realm of investment services
• Provide legal counsel on regulatory and compliance matters pertaining to federal securities laws
• Handle issues related to registered investment companies and investment advisers
• Conduct thorough research and analysis on pertinent legal topics

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree with exemplary academic credentials
• Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction or in the process of obtaining admission
• 4-6 years of experience in investment services, focusing on registered investment companies and investment advisers
• Proficiency in regulatory and compliance matters concerning federal securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933

Education & Certifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree

Skills:

• Strong ability to manage multiple matters concurrently
• Analytical skills for conducting legal research and problem-solving
