Duties:

• Participate in depositions, mediations, and hearings, providing timely reports

• Negotiate settlements and prepare for litigation as required

• Collaborate regularly with support staff and legal team members

• Maintain compliance with internal case handling protocols and court procedures

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina

• 1-5 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or workers’ compensation

• 1-3 years of prior insurance defense experience is preferred

• Proven ability to handle a caseload independently with minimal supervision

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills

• Strong attention to detail and client service orientation

• Comfortable with technology and case management software

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing Bar License in South Carolina
