Job Overview:
A well-established civil defense law firm in Denver, CO is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation experience and an active Colorado Bar license. Location:

  • Denver, CO

Duties:

  • Manage civil litigation cases from inception through resolution, including trial and appeal phases

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents

  • Participate in all aspects of the discovery process including depositions and interrogatories

  • Assist with trial preparation and attend court hearings and trials as needed

  • Maintain effective communication with clients and provide regular updates on case status

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategies

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory standards

  • Handle case management and maintain accurate legal documentation and deadlines

  • Provide exceptional legal counsel and representation to clients

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience

  • Strong knowledge of Colorado civil procedure and litigation processes

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

  • High attention to detail and professional integrity

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Colorado Bar License (required)
