The role involves handling and managing litigation files from inception through trial, preparing legal documents, and making court and arbitration appearances.

 

Duties:

  • Handle and manage litigation files from inception through trial
  • Prepare motions and memorandums of law
  • Prepare pleadings, discovery, demands, and responses
  • Draft reports and provide file analysis
  • Make court and arbitration appearances

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Admitted to practice law in the state of New York
  • 1+ years of litigation experience, preferably in No Fault (PIP) defense
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Court and arbitration experience is a plus
