Guardianship Attorney

A law firm in Coral Gables, FL, seeks a dedicated and compassionate Guardianship Attorney to support the senior attorney in reviewing petitions. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and negotiation skills, exceptional research and analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of the needs of vulnerable individuals and their families.

Duties:

• Assist the senior attorney in reviewing guardianship petitions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to guardianship cases.
• Prepare legal documents, including petitions, motions, and court filings.
• Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other parties involved in guardianship proceedings.
• Attend court hearings and represent clients in guardianship matters.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding guardianship issues.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm.

Requirements:

• Active Bar membership in the state of Florida.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Demonstrated experience in guardianship law or related areas.
• Strong understanding of relevant statutes, regulations, and legal precedents.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and emotional situations with compassion.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the state of Florida.
