Energy - Project Finance Attorney

A law firm in Des Moines is seeking a skilled Energy - Project Finance Attorney with a strong background in commercial/transactional work and a keen interest in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in federal income tax matters, energy tax credits, and government incentive programs. Transactional experience representing power producers and investors in tax equity and leasing structures within the wind, solar, and renewable fuels industries is highly desirable.

Job Details:

• Execute commercial/transactional work with a focus on energy-related matters.

Requirements:

• Strong academic background with a J.D from an ABA-Accredited Law School.
• Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Should have 2+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in transactional work within the energy sector.
• Familiarity with federal income tax matters, energy tax credits, and government incentive programs.
• Transactional experience representing power producers and investors in tax equity and leasing structures within the wind, solar, and renewable fuels industries.

Education:

J.D from an ABA-Accredited Law School.

Certifications:

Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
