Job Overview: A law firm specializing in global transportation finance seeks a highly motivated Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of transactional experience. The successful candidate will assist in complex finance transactions involving various sectors such as securitization, leveraged finance, and secured lending. The position is based in Dallas, TX.

Duties:

  • Assist in structuring, negotiating, and documenting finance transactions related to global transportation.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support transactional matters.
  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to ensure successful completion of transactions.
  • Manage multiple matters simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of transactional experience at a law firm.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: securitization, leveraged finance, secured lending, capital markets, private equity, project finance, structured finance, real estate finance, and aviation.
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • J.D. degree (or its equivalent) with strong academic credentials.
  • Admission in (and in good standing with) or taking steps to become admitted in Texas.

Education:

  • J.D. degree (or its equivalent) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the TX Bar.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
