A prominent law firm in New York City, NY, is actively seeking an accomplished Associate Attorney specializing in insurance coverage matters (excluding general insurance defense). The ideal candidate is expected to bring a portable book of business exceeding $300,000, with rates surpassing $500 per hour. Duties:

• Provide expert legal counsel and representation to clients in insurance coverage matters, focusing on policy interpretation, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide comprehensive advice on insurance-related issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate insurance policies, contracts, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and legal proceedings related to insurance coverage disputes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop effective case strategies and ensure client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on insurance laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, specializing in insurance coverage matters.
• Proven track record of cultivating and maintaining a portable book of business exceeding $300,000.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
