Senior Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking a Senior Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney with a strong interest in developing standup and trial experience in high-stakes technology disputes. The successful candidate will play a lead role in major litigation, taking and defending depositions, writing and arguing substantive motions, and meaningfully participating on trial teams, including preparing witnesses, pretrial arguments, and strategy. The position requires 8+ years of trial-focused civil litigation experience involving patents.

Duties:

• Develop standup and trial experience in high-stakes technology disputes.
• Lead major litigation cases, taking and defending depositions.
• Write and argue substantive motions with proficiency.
• Meaningfully participate in trial teams, including preparing witnesses, pretrial arguments, and overall strategy.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of trial-focused civil litigation experience involving patents.
• Juris Doctorate degree.
• Strong substantive legal skills.
• Ability to lead and manage case teams with limited partner supervision.
• Undergraduate degrees in engineering, chemistry, biology, and/or computer science fields are valuable.
