Divorce Lawyer

A law firm in Hartford, CT is seeking a Divorce Lawyer with experience and Bar admission. The candidate will be responsible for handling divorce cases and providing legal representation and advice to clients.

Duties:

• Represent clients in divorce proceedings.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on divorce-related issues such as child custody, visitation, alimony, and property division.
• Draft legal documents including divorce petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research on relevant laws and precedents.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.
• Prepare clients for court appearances and hearings.
• Advocate for clients' interests in court.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Divorce Lawyer.
• Bar admission in Connecticut.
• Strong understanding of family law and divorce proceedings.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in Connecticut.
