Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney

A law firm in East Palo Alto, CA, is currently seeking a Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm. They should possess superior writing, research, and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate and take ownership of a multi-matter docket.

Duties:

• Handle class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation matters
• Effectively communicate with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties, both verbally and in writing
• Produce deliverables and respond to correspondence promptly and efficiently
• Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work product
• Meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required
• Foster positive work relationships within the firm
• Comply with all firm policies and practices
• Engage in physical and sedentary activities as required
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience
• Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools
• Previous federal clerkship is a plus
• Experience with class action defense preferred
• Superior writing skills

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of California
