Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support to clients in the field of finance, particularly on borrower-side matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate finance agreements, loan documents, and related contracts.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessment for financial transactions.
  • Assist clients in structuring and executing complex financing deals.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
  • Handle dispute resolution and litigation related to financial matters when necessary.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys, partners, and clients to develop innovative legal solutions.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the New York State Bar and in good standing.
  • A minimum of 7 years of legal experience with a focus on finance and borrower-side work.
  • Strong academic credentials, including a high GPA.
  • Previous experience at a top-tier large law firm in New York City is preferred.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to handle a high level of responsibility.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of New York.
