A law firm located in Hartford, CT, is seeking a Corporate Transactional Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of demonstrated corporate and transactional experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transactional matters, including due diligence, legal research, document drafting, and negotiation in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance, and corporate governance. They should be comfortable working directly with clients and managing substantial components of various corporate and transactional matters. Experience in the healthcare and life sciences industries is considered a plus. The successful candidate must possess excellent technical, professional, and client service skills, as well as exceptional written and verbal communication and advocacy skills. NJ or CT Bar admission in good standing is required.

Duties:

  • Conduct due diligence and legal research in support of corporate and transactional matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements with precision.
  • Provide expert counsel and support on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance, and corporate governance issues.
  • Interact directly with clients, offering comprehensive legal solutions and managing various aspects of corporate transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the healthcare and life sciences industries.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated corporate and transactional experience.
  • Strong transactional background with expertise in due diligence, document drafting, and negotiation.
  • Comfortable working directly with clients and managing substantial components of corporate and transactional matters.
  • Corporate and transactional experience in the healthcare and life sciences sectors is a valuable asset.
