Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Associate in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience advising on privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity matters in corporate and technology transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and public offerings.

Duties

  • Advise on privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity matters.
  • Support corporate and technology transactions, including M&A and public offerings.
  • Collaborate with clients across various industries, including AI, cloud computing, and fintech.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, or technology transactions.
  • Experience with technology industries and regulatory policy is desirable.
  • CIPP certification is a plus.

Education

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • CIPP certification preferred.
