Mid- to Senior-level IP Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a Mid- to Senior-level IP Litigation Associate Attorney with experience in commercial litigation and internet/intellectual property law. The ideal candidate will be motivated, committed, meticulous, and organized, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Duties:

• Handle all intellectual property litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
• Conducted legal research and provided analysis on complex legal issues related to intellectual property law.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on case strategy and client communication.
• Manage client relationships and provide strategic advice on intellectual property disputes.

Requirements:

• JD degree from a leading law school.
• Graduating in the top 10% of their class is preferred.
• 3-5 years of large law firm or related federal and New York State litigation experience.
• Experience in commercial litigation and internet/intellectual property law.
• Some experience in general corporate work or IP licensing is a plus.
• Law review or journal experience is preferred.
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
