They will be responsible for playing a crucial role in deal teams, overseeing various aspects of transactions from due diligence to closing.

Duties:

  • Act as a key member of deal teams, taking on responsibility for running fundamental aspects of transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence processes efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on complex finance transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate transactional documents, including loan agreements, security agreements, and ancillary documents.
  • Collaborate with partners, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Stay updated with relevant legal developments and regulatory changes affecting corporate finance transactions.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of corporate law experience, focusing on complex finance transactions.
  • Strong understanding of sponsor-backed leveraged finance.
  • Experience representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions.
  • Licensed to practice law in Georgia and good standing.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.
  • Additional certifications or coursework in finance law or related fields are advantageous.
