Job Overview:

The Attorney will provide effective legal advice, manage caseload, and maintain strong client relationships. They must possess expertise in family law, including divorce, custody, and child support matters.

Duties:

• Provide client representation and legal counsel for family law issues
• Offer practical advice consistent with clients' legal needs
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis for pleadings, motions, and memoranda
• Manage caseload from initiation to resolution
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients
• Lead and collaborate with support staff effectively

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in family law
• Demonstrated competency and commitment to practicing family law
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Reliability, independence, and initiative, balanced with teamwork
• Proficient writing skills with attention to detail
• Emotionally intelligent with a compassionate temperament
• Strong litigation skills, including negotiation and resolution
• Commitment to continual improvement and staying updated on relevant laws
• Effective communication and leadership skills

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
• Admission to the Tennessee State Bar
