Associate Attorney needed for Mercer Island office

Job Overview:

Location:

• Mercer Island, WA

Duties:

• Draft legal advocacy documents, including motions, protests, petitions, briefs, and discovery

• Represent clients in litigation, from case initiation through to trial

• Provide oral advocacy in hearings and court proceedings

• Work on cases related to Workers' Compensation, WISHA, and Employment Law

• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies

• Manage relationships with clients, ensuring high-quality service and communication

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of legal experience, recent law school graduates are encouraged to apply

• Strong communication and writing skills (Required)

• Attention to detail and ability to analyze medical evidence (Preferred)

• Litigation experience or interest in litigation (Preferred)

• Interest in Workers' Compensation, WISHA, and Employment Law (Desired)

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team (Required)

• Ability to commute to Mercer Island, WA (Required)

• Willingness to relocate to Mercer Island, WA before starting (Required)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school (Required)

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Washington (Required)
