A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level/Senior Private Equity Buy-Out Associate Attorney for their Washington, DC office.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in managing transactions independently, with specific expertise in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including leveraged buyouts and strategic investments. They should possess a proactive approach, strong business acumen, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships. Exceptional academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential. Relevant DC Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly is required.

Duties:

• Manage transactions independently, demonstrating expertise in various corporate and transactional matters.
• Specialize in leveraged buyouts and strategic investments.
• Provide legal counsel and support to clients throughout the transaction process.
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessment.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents and agreements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to ensure seamless transaction execution.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:
