Job Overview:

Duties:

• Draft legal filings including complaints, motions, and memoranda for employment class action cases

• Craft case strategies and manage litigation for wage and hour violations in state and federal court

• Participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations representing employees in class actions

• Conduct legal research and draft persuasive arguments to support client positions

• Collaborate with senior litigators on complex procedural and substantive issues

• Develop litigation skills through exposure to all phases of case management and trial preparation

Requirements:

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar

• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in employment law and complex litigation

• Ability to operate effectively under pressure and manage multiple case deadlines

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

• Strong analytical thinking and independent problem-solving abilities

• High attention to detail and organizational precision

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• California Bar admission required
