Job Details:

Duties:

  • Defending civil litigation cases, primarily focusing on medical malpractice.
  • Managing medical malpractice cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
  • Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the cases.
  • Representing clients in mediation, negotiations, and court proceedings.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of prior experience defending civil litigation cases.
  • Currently licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.
  • Strong work ethic and proven medical case management skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional research and writing skills.
  • Top-notch marketing and client development skills.
  • Competent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Trial experience is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Colorado.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in case management, legal research, and writing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Marketing and client development expertise.
  • Trial experience (preferred).
