Employment Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Chicago, IL, is actively seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defending and litigating lawsuits related to employment claims, advising employers on labor and employment issues, and representing clients in various legal proceedings. The position requires a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school, a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, and active membership in the Illinois Bar.

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits encompassing a broad spectrum of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Provide strategic advice, counseling, and training to employers on various employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations, handling matters such as class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete cases.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law, with a strong background preferred.
• Active Illinois Bar admission in good standing.
• Comprehensive understanding of current agency procedures at both state and federal levels.
