Duties:

  • Conduct patent prosecution and manage patent portfolios.
  • Analyze patent issues and provide counsel on intellectual property matters.
  • Assist in patent analysis, opinions of counsel, and inter partes reviews (IPRs).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • 2+ years of prosecution experience at a firm or in-house, including portfolio management.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in video processing and video codecs.
  • Familiarity with video coding standards.
  • Experience in virtual/augmented reality and AI is advantageous.
  • Graduate-level experience or an advanced technical degree is a plus.
  • Admission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is preferred.
