Job Title: Senior Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Senior Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong background in civil litigation, and the ability to manage a case docket effectively. The Senior Attorney will handle various legal matters, including conducting and defending depositions, appearing in court, and providing clients with high-quality legal advice and representation.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
• Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• 4 years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience conducting and defending depositions, managing a case docket, and appearing in court is preferred.
• Candidates with experience handling multi-district litigation are a plus.
• Trial experience is desirable.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
