The ideal candidate will support attorneys in various patent prosecution and litigation matters, offering technical expertise to help advance client cases in the fields of electrical engineering and software technologies. Duties:

  • Collaborate with attorneys to analyze complex technical issues related to patent prosecution and litigation.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise on patent filings, legal briefs, and patent-related matters.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing patent claims and related documents.
  • Conduct technical research to support patent strategies, including relevant standards such as 5G, 6G, and 3GPP.
  • Review and summarize technical materials, including patents, publications, and related engineering documentation.
  • Communicate technical findings to both legal teams and clients in clear, understandable terms.
  • Assist with legal research and due diligence in support of ongoing patent cases.
  • Maintain strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple ongoing projects.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in electrical engineering, computer science, or related fields.
  • No previous intellectual property experience is required, though a keen interest in the field is important.
  • Familiarity with wireless communication technologies (5G, 6G, 3GPP standards) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
